tried using my watch as a click track and it turns out 120 bpm was on my wrist the whole time...
so my watch beats at 28,800 vph, which works out to 8 ticks a second. ngl thats 480 bpm, and if you divide it down you get a perfectly usable 120. I put a contact mic on the caseback, ran it through a gate and recorded a whole guitar take to it last night. it actually worked. the...

What do you think of AI written songs?
With the rising use of AI these days, there are a lot of songs that have been written with AI. I know that AI exists to make our work easier, but the thought of it producing a song that I vibe to seems like betrayal.
I want to listen to music written by humans, by someone with...

drifting a few BPM between takes because i dont trust the click track
So I've been recording guitar parts over a drum loop this week. Every time i play back the full take it feels like the loop is speeding up on me... i checked the project and its locked at 92 BPM. Nothing in the session is set to change tempo. It's just me. I've decided to blame t...

Have you ever learnt how to make music?
I really find music producers cool. The fact that you can just put together some pluggins, elements and sound to give out good melodious sound is top tier stuff. If I have the time, I would love to learn how to make music, even if its for the fun of it.
Is it something you consi...
