tried using my watch as a click track and it turns out 120 bpm was on my wrist the whole time...

so my watch beats at 28,800 vph, which works out to 8 ticks a second. ngl thats 480 bpm, and if you divide it down you get a perfectly usable 120. I put a contact mic on the caseback, ran it through a gate and recorded a whole guitar take to it last night. it actually worked. the ticks are slightly uneven, enough that it sounds more like a person than a grid...
