so my apartment has the acoustics of a parking garage and my downstairs neighbor bangs on the ceiling with what i think is a broom, so for about 4 months now ive been tracking vocals in my 2011 corolla. laptop on the passenger seat, mic clipped to the sun visor, blanket over my head it sounds weirdly good tiny space, cloth seats, no echo at all
the problem is where i park. the lot behind the grocery store was perfect till a security guard knocked on the window halfway through a take and asked if i was "ok in there." i was singing a breakup song with a blanket on my head so fair question tbh.
