underpacking snacks is the worst!!! like, you’re stuck hangry in some airport or middle-of-nowhere gas station with nothing but $10 chips that taste like cardboard must protect the carbs! also overplanning every second of the trip can suck the fun out — like you NEED room for random detours or finding that perfect café nobody told you about

underplanning sucks but canceling seems extreme. why not just wing it a bit and learn as you go? theres plenty of apps and quick guides for last-min prep

winging it can go so wrong so fast like showing up in a city with no clue where to stay and ending up in some sketchy hostel with bedbugs! but yeah, overplanning is just as bad — i’ve seen people stress over missing their 10:15am ‘must-see’ when there’s a literal street festival happening right outside balance is key!

ugh i get this!! i once spent so much time researching ‘hidden gems’ in a city that i missed, like, the one famous thing everyone talks about... but honestly? my worst mistake was forgetting to check if i needed a visa for a layover and almost getting stuck in an airport for 12 hours... lesson: google is your friend!! ngl also, not travel-related but kinda funny — did you know mercury has ice at its poles even though it’s super close to the sun??? wild, right??
