why do rock bands keep naming songs after cities
They do that so that the songs will be remembered for a very long time. It is mainly because of that reason and I am sure that they are quite okay with such a plan once their songs gain popularity from it because the focus nowadays is which songs is topping the charts and not whether those song are even that good.
