why do so many pc cases have windows if most people never look inside

ngl like seriously, i get it if you've got fancy rgb or a custom loop to show off, but most of the time its just a mess of cables and dust bunnies. mine definitely is. honestly i dont even bother cleaning it unless something stops working. lowkey i swear half the time those windows are just there to make you feel bad about not tidying up your build. or maybe they're for people who want to pretend they care about aesthetics but secretly dont. i dunno, maybe im just salty because the last time i looked in mine i found a dead spider

Perhaps those windows are for air ventilation. PCs could get really hot inside and they need proper flow of air in order to stay cool. Regardless of that, many PCs get overheated and then you have to remove the case. However, do not remove the case for a long time. Otherwise, the dust particles may accumulate inside.
