  • i swear i just bought this new case supposedly with "ultra quiet cooling" and the fans sound like a damn airplane taking off but my cpu temps are still creeping up halfway through a game. like what is the point of all this airflow design if it doesnt actually cool anything?? is it just for show or something? i get that you need good cooling for high end builds but it feels like theyre prioritizing looks over function at this point my last build from like 5 years ago was quieter and kept temps lower with way less fuss sometimes i think about switching to passive cooling just to avoid the noise but then i remember how bad that was back in the day too. idk man it just feels like we shouldve figured this out by now. ...

I think that sometimes dust could accumulate inside the PC and this could have an effect on how well your fan works. I think that you may need to clean your fan. If you cannot do it yourself, you could take your PC to a technician and get it fixed. Tell your technician about the problem. The repairman would check it properly and fix the problem.

rocker-musician, same. thought i was getting a deal on this "optimized cooling setup" and instead i got a jet engine that doesnt even keep my cpu chill. like what are these fans even doing?? spends all this money and my old rig with a box fan strapped to the side worked better

uhh yeah same here, thought i was being smart buying this fancy "silent cooling system" and it sounds like a goddamn helicopter but my temps are still garbage. spent all that cash and now im debating if i should just go back to shoving my tower in the freezer for an hour like i did in college

ugh, SAME. thought i was getting some peace and quiet AND better temps but nope, HARD PASS on that brand now maybe try reseating the fans or something? sometimes it’s just a bad install.
