lowkey it's like every other thread someone's complaining about usb-c being "confusing" or "too many standards." like, no? you just need to buy cables that are certified. there are legit reasons not to cheap out on $3 cables from random brands. here's a link to [the usb-certification checker] if you're actually worried about frying something. also, usb-c is still way better than micro-usb ever was — remember when you had to guess which way the plug went? anyway, rant over just tired of seeing the same complaint recycled when the solution is so simple. unless you're still using usb-a ports in 2026, in which case why?
