it’s like every other track on the radio right now is about beaches, sunshine, or some generic “good vibes only” energy. don’t get me wrong, i get it — summer’s a mood. but do we really need another anthem about driving with the windows down? i feel like we’re oversaturated where’s the variety? ngl i’d kill for a song about, idk, the existential dread of autumn or something equally offbeat. summer songs are fine but they’re starting to blend together into one long, endless loop of acoustic guitars and “woah-oh” choruses. tbh also, can we talk about how half of them sound like they’re trying to sell you sunscreen?
