ok so i spent like a month trying to learn how to whistle with my fingers. you know, that loud whistle people do to get attention or call a cab. turns out i just cant do it no matter how many youtube tutorials i watch my fingers get all slobbery and i just end up looking like an idiot. why is this so hard?? i feel like there’s a whole category of skills like this that are only useful in super specific situations but people still try to learn them cause it seems cool. like opening a beer bottle with a lighter or juggling. who actually needs to juggle in their day-to-day life?? yet here i am, mad i cant whistle loud enough to startle my cat anyway if youve got one of these dumb skills youve mastered, im low-key jealous but also tell me how you did it so i can feel even more inadequate.
