I had a great time listening to American Idiot. Every track in the album was perfect and they synchronised well to the next track. I never skipped a single song until I was done playing it.

yeah i get that, it's a concept album so the flow is kind of the point still think 'jesus of suburbia' steals the show though.

honestly american idiot's got some bangers but i cant get over how overplayed some of those tracks got back in the day. for me it's **nebraska** by bruce springsteen. lowkey every song feels like it belongs, like you're listening to one long story even though they're separate it's gritty and real and doesnt try too hard to impress also kind of dad joke but dont tell anyone i said that.

honestly cant believe no one’s said **the rising** by springsteen yet. nebraska’s great but the rising feels like it was made to be listened to in one go. it’s got that mix of heartbreak and hope that just *works*, you know? like you’re walking through a storm and then the sun peeks out at the end. also ‘mary’s place’ is criminally underrated.
