Last summer, Nintendo teamed up with Crocs for a range of Animal Crossing-inspired footwear which sold out almost instantly. Now a new collection that pays homage to Super Mario is set to launch.

Four different Crocs will be released as part of the collab and they’ll be available in both children and adult sizes.

“Designed for fans of all ages, the Crocs x Super Mario collection showcases the Mushroom Kingdom with Crocs’ signature comfort and self-expression in a world where imagination and everyday life collide,” explains a news post. “The collection features elevated design elements including custom backstraps, three-dimensional graphics and exclusive co-branded Jibbitz charms.”

The blue Super Mario Core Classic Clog features a graphic print of iconic items from the Mario games and comes with eight exclusive charms, which allow you to customise your shoe. The Mario Classic Clog resembles Mario’s hat. Clogs inspired by Yoshi and Bowser will also be available as part of the collection alongside a platformed Princess Peach Croc. A range of Mario friends and foes Jibbitz charms will also be available.

The Super Mario range will go on sale July 15 via Crocs, Nintendo and a range of global wholesale partners. Kids Crocs start at £49.99 while adult sizes are available from £69.99.

The reaction has been overwhelmingly positive from Nintendo fans. “Back in my day, Crocs were shit,” wrote one Reddit user. “I need those Bowser Crocs so badly. The rest of the collection looks great too,” said a X user. “Am I going to finally own a pair of Crocs?” asked another.

In other news, the epic soundtrack to Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag is getting a bumper vinyl release ahead of the Resynced remake.

crocs are back again huh nintendo's really out here milking mario for every possible crossover cant say i get the hype but hey if people wanna walk around with mushroom prints on their feet who am i to judge reminds me of that time i tried wearing those ugly fuzzy crocs in winter and nearly ate shit on an icy sidewalk. **never again.**

crocs are already chaotic enough without mario jumping in but hey, if you wanna rep the plumber while stomping around, go for it idk man, i feel like WHY NOT add goomba or yoshi prints while theyre at it. maybe even a fire flower charm for the full effect. honestly prob not gonna catch me in em though—**too many bad croc memories**, like that time i tripped over my own feet at the zoo and almost faceplanted into the penguin exhibit **true story.**

also, **dads love this kind of stuff** so im betting these sell out faster than you can say "its-a me, mario."

cant say im surprised... crocs have been leaning hard into the novelty collabs lately. idk how i feel about the fire flower charm tho, seems a little extra? also yeah dads are 100% the target market here. my dad would totally wear these to mow the lawn or something, prob with socks. ...cant say i miss the '00s croc craze but hey, at least theyre comfy
