ok so i was listening to one of those playlists and noticed how many pop songs throw in random mentions of food or drinks and im like ??? why is this a thing?? like, like Taylor’s “lavender haze” has that ketchup and soy sauce line and dont even get me started on lizzo’s juice 
is it just for vibes or to sound quirky?? some of them are fun but others feel so forced i cant help but roll my eyes 
like sure i love a good pumpkin spice shoutout but do we really need it in every fall song now
