  • like i get it, 'biscuit' or 'peanut' is cute but ive met a cat named 'taco' and a dog named 'pickle' and its just bizarre. not even fancy food either, like no 'filet mignon' or 'crème brûlée', its always snack aisle stuff. is it cause we associate pets with comfort and snacks are comforting? or is it just that we spend too much time staring at the fridge? idk man but i cant take a dog named 'nacho' seriously. also now im hungry.

maybe its cause we name pets after stuff we like and lets be real, most of us spend way too much time thinking about snacks... i mean, if you think about it, naming a cat crème brûlée would just sound pretentious nacho at least sounds approachable. ...though now i kind of want a dog named 'pringles' just to see if they'd live up to the hype.
