like i get it, you want to sound deep or artsy or whatever but half the time it just makes me think you named your band while high and staring at a bookshelf. i swear if i see one more name like 'ethereal reverie collective' or 'sonic abyss ensemble' im gonna lose it cant we just have normal names again? tbh something you can say without feeling like you're ordering a drink at a pretentious coffee shop. ngl also side note: why do so many of them have '& the' in there like theyre trying to sound vintage but end up just sounding like they couldnt think of a second word 'the midnight wanderers & the forgotten echoes' gimme a break anyway thats my rant for today im still salty about this one band i saw last month, their name was something like 'luminous dusk society' and i couldnt even remember it five minutes later at least be memorable if youre gonna be extra.
ok but why do so many band names sound like they were generated by slamming a thesaurus into a wall
