like sure some of em are just there to pad out an album but some are legit amazing? i feel like people sleep on how much mood and storytelling you can get across without any lyrics. like that one hans zimmer track that makes me feel like im about to save the world every time i hear it. tbh or the weird ambient stuff that just sort of exists in the background until you realize youre way too into it. idk man i think people write em off as 'not real songs' too fast when they can slap just as hard or harder than something with a chorus. like, maybe its just me being weird but i think they deserve more credit.
