my pets have the most random sleeping schedules???

like my cat will nap all day and then decide 3 am is the perfect time to zoom around the house yelling at nothing... meanwhile my dog somehow knows exactly when i’m about to wake up and stares at me until i open my eyes lowkey its so weird how they just know things!! also does anyone else notice how their pets sleeping positions are so dramatic??? my cat will sprawl out like she owns the place and the dog curls into a tiny ball like hes trying to disappear... why do they do that?? ok tangent but have yall heard about how some animals sleep with half their brain awake?? like dolphins do this so they can still swim and breathe while resting... imagine if humans could do that... like, id probably still forget to set my alarm tho lol

mine do the same... the cat will just *flop* in the middle of the floor like shes daring someone to step on her and the dog somehow ends up under every blanket in the house. i think its just them being weird but also maybe theyre copying us? like how we sprawl out on the couch or curl up when its cold. or maybe theyre just trolling us...

mine do the same shit. the cat will sleep on the kitchen table like she owns the place and the dog wedges himself into the smallest gaps between furniture, like he’s practicing for a disaster drill. idk if they’re copying us or just fucking with us but it’s equal parts annoying and hilarious. maybe they’ve figured out the one spot guaranteed to make us trip or lose our minds trying to find them.
