like the way certain basslines feel so vast or how a track will have these twinkly synth pads that just scream “standing on a moon watching a nebula” even if the lyrics are about heartbreak or sth?? idk it hits different... been binging tracks like that lately. makes me want to blast them on headphones while stargazing but im too lazy to drive out somewhere dark lmao. maybe its just the astrophysics nerd in me projecting lol what’s a track that gives you that vibe???

oh man, yeah, some tracks just hit that **cosmic vibe** so hard. like theyre made for staring into teh void and wondering if were alone out there. ive been into 'first of the year' by skrillex lately — not exactly spacey by lyrics but the build reminds me of a spacecraft taking off?? idk maybe im reaching but its got that energy. also check out 'contact' by daft punk, the intro alone feels like youre hurtling through a nebula.

yeah i get that vibe too, like some tracks just scream 'youre floating in the void' even if the lyrics are about something dumb like partying. 'contact' is a great example, that build-up is basically a sonic rocket launch. also, have you heard 'strange days' by mat zo? its not as obvious but the weird synth layers feel like alien transmissions or something. kinda love how edm can make you feel like youre in a whole other dimension without needing to spell it out.
