Is it okay to 'borrow' a neighbor's wifi if they dont password it?

poll sparked by my buddy arguing thats its fine to leech off open networks. i say its sketchy but maybe not outright evil? like, curious what others think cause this feels like one of those gray area things where everyone has a different line.

i mean, technically its their fault for not securing it, right?? but also, just because you can doesnt mean you should its like leaving your door unlocked — doesnt give me permission to walk in. feels a little shady to me

like, must be nice to have ethics when there's free wifi on the line. wow rub it in why dont you. i'd totally 'borrow' it for like, 5 mins tops. not like theyre using all that bandwidth anyway honestly still, youre prob right, feels sketchy cant argue with the unlocked door analogy tho.
