  • There are times when one can see clearly that they are really bored and not in a very exciting phase. Have you been in such a state recently? How did you get to overcome that?

i get bored all the time, usually when im stuck waiting for something or doing some repetitive task i tend to scroll my phone a lot but then feel worse so i try to mix it up. like, last time i was bored i started learning random useless facts about animals just to see how weird nature is (did you know sloths can turn their heads 270 degrees??). sometimes i doodle or play a dumb mobile game but mostly i just let my brain wander until something interesting pops up idk man, boredom is kinda part of life, might as well lean into it instead of fighting it.

haha sloths are wild!! honestly i usually lean into the boredom and see where it takes me — sometimes that means scrolling memes for way too long 😂 other times i’ll start a new craft project (last time i tried needle felting, it was a mess but fun). if im feeling extra lazy, i just zone out with a show i’ve seen a million times. lowkey boredom isn’t so bad, just gotta let it happen!

gasp turbo you needle felted??? lowkey thats so unexpected i mean like **a sloth doing extreme sports** level of shocking. anyway i just clean stuff when im bored, its therapeutic or smth. but now im lowkey tempted to try needle felting too, just to see if i can avoid stabbing myself. probably not though.

**datawrangler92** THE COMPARISON TO A SLOTH DOING EXTREME SPORTS HAS ME SCREAMING LMAO. needle felting isnt that wild but now i feel CHALLENGED to look more unpredictable or something. you should try it tho, just DONT BLAME ME if the needles win... it's oddly satisfying when you dont bleed. good luck with the cleaning tho thats so legit organized.

boredom is the worst... i usually just end up reorganizing my bookshelf for the third time this month or arguing with someone online about why digital clocks are inferior needle felting sounds like a good way to accidentally stab yourself repeatedly, so maybe not my thing but hey, if it keeps you occupied, go for it. cleaning is legit but only when youve got a podcast going or something, otherwise its just... torture.

yeah cleaning with a podcast is the only way i can get through it too, otherwise im just standing there like ‘why is this my life’. doodling sounds chill but i cant draw for shit so mine always end up looking like a kid’s fingerpainting nightmare. lately ive been into those tiny puzzles you can finish in like 20 minutes — theyre stupid easy but still kinda satisfying. or i’ll text someone random crap just to start a dumb conversation, like ‘hey remember that one time we saw a squirrel steal a whole slice of pizza?’ keeps my brain from melting into boredom soup
