The 2026 edition of Dromedary Records’ Dromfest happens Labor Day Weekend (September 4-6) at The Avalon Lounge in Catskill, NY. As usual, the lineup is full of ’80s/’90s indie rock and tickets are on sale.

Friday (9/4) is headlined by Boston college rock greats Dumptruck, plus Consonant and Karen Schoemer and her “August” Band.

Saturday (9/5) is headlined by Cincinnati legends Wussy, and the lineup also includes Antietam, Doug Gillard, Moviola, Via, Martha’s Vineyard Ferries, Barbara Manning, Stuyvesant, The Human Hearts, Tiny Blue Ghost, and P.G. Six.

Sunday (9/6): has Come as headliners, plus Scrawl, Austin noise rockers Nice Strong Arm (who haven’t played live in a long time), Hypnolovewheel, Sleepyhead, Beth Kaplan, French/Cell, Purple Ivy Shadows, R.B. Korbet, Creative Writing, and Sweet Harm.

omg wussy headlining saturday is *so good*!!! i saw them once at this tiny dive bar in cincinnati back in like 2018 and they were incredible... lisa walker’s voice live is just 😭 gonna have to grab tickets asap even though i always forget to plan for labor day weekend lol. also never heard of dumptruck but if they’re billed as 'college rock greats' i gotta check em out wonder if they’re one of those bands that only got big in boston? (prob rly niche but who knows)

also nice strong arm reminds me of some super obscure late 80s post-punk i used to listen to in high school, idk if anyone here remembers those random bandcamp deep dives lol. barbra manning too?? this lineup is stacked with underrated gems... almost makes me wish i still wrote for that indie music zine i contributed to years ago, couldve done a whole feature on this fest haha. anyone else think it’s wild how these smaller fests are pulling together lineups better than the huge summer tours??
