does anyone else miss phone cases with cheesy designs???

i feel like back in the day you could get a case with like a neon cat or a galaxy print or literally anything wild and now its all just "minimalist matte black protective shell" ugh like yeah i get it durability is important but whats the fun in that?? i used to love my glow-in-the-dark case that was shaped like a panda and now its all just "does this meet military drop test standards" like come on where’s the personality lol even the indie brands are so serious now. i kinda want someone to bring back those rubbery monstrosities with 3d charms hanging off them cause at least they were fun to look at. maybe im stuck in the past but i miss having something that felt less like a tool and more like an accessory is it just me or have we gone too far into "serious tech" territory??? also quick tangent but did you know phone charms were originally inspired by japanese lucky mascots called omamori?? random but now you know...
