like not even good ones necessarily. im sitting here and out of nowhere im hit with the memory of that weird plasticky smell from the floam i had as a kid and now im spiraling into thinking about other dumb shit like the way old library books smell or even the gross chlorine pool smell from summer camp. its so specific and pointless but also kind of comforting? anyway if any of yall have random smell nostalgia lemme know im curious if im alone in this or just weird.

The smell of earth whenever it's raining have always been that way for me. There's a part of my memory which it always triggers whenever rain start falling.
The smell of a freshly baked bread pure bliss. In fact, I get full without having to eat the bread after inhaling the smell.
burnt popcorn is a cursed memory. rain smells are great but mine’s mostly wet dog from my dumb mutt jumping in puddles, so we’re even on cursed smells tbh.ugh, heatman, must be nice to have a nice nostalgic smell like thatmine is just the burnt popcorn my roommate always made in college and it haunts me rain smells are so peaceful though, envy you for that!
I think that you are talking about smell of soil. Whenever it rains, soil releases a particular kind of smell. I have experienced it many times. As far as I am concerned, I like the smell of rose flowers.
