rainy weekends feel like time slows down. what do you actually end up doing when youre stuck inside and cant go out?

i usually end up deep cleaning something random like the junk drawer or reorganizing the spice cabinet. dont ask me why, its just satisfying to have one tiny corner of the house not chaotic for once... or if im feeling ambitious i might try to bake something and inevitably mess it up. last time i made cookies that were somehow both burnt and raw in the middle. still ate them though.

rainy weekends are made for ignoring the pile of dishes in the sink and losing hours to some obscure youtube rabbit hole last time i ended up watching a 4-part series on how ball bearings are made dont judge, it was weirdly fascinating... lowkey or maybe i'll finally get around to fixing that one drawer that sticks every time i open it probably wont though.
