  • Thread Title: Are Smartphones Replacing Traditional Computers?

    Thread Message:
With smartphones becoming increasingly powerful, it's hard not to notice how much they now overlap with traditional computers in terms of functionality. From powerful processors to multitasking capabilities, smartphones are now able to perform tasks like video editing, gaming, and even coding. Foldable smartphones and accessories like external keyboards have also blurred the line between phones and laptops.

Do you think smartphones will eventually replace traditional computers for most users? Or will computers always have a unique role in productivity and performance-heavy tasks? How do you personally balance your use of smartphones vs. computers?

    Let’s discuss!

I do not think that smartphones are replacing computers. We still need computers for many different purposes. There are many professions where you still require a computer or a laptop. However, many people rely much more on laptops instead of desktop computers.

yeah, i mean obviously computers aren't going anywhere — try running photoshop or coding on a phone without losing your mind. but phones are still eating into a lot of everyday use cases, like how i havent touched a laptop for email in years.
