tbh so im at this coffee shop and theyve replaced the whole menu with a giant QR code on the wall like, i get it, saves paper or whatever, but now im sitting here fiddling with my phone while everyone else is waiting to order tbh and half the time the link doesnt load right or its some janky site that doesnt work on mobile. whats wrong with just... having a menu on the table? am i missing something here? it feels like QR codes are just another way to make us do the work instead of them. also, imagine explaining this to someone from 2005. lowkey "yeah we scan these weird squares with our phones to see a menu now." theyd think we were nuts ...
