  • so i noticed a bunch of artists lately naming tracks after black holes, quasars, pulsars... like "event horizon" or "gravitational lensing" and idk it just feels so cool?? makes me think of how space is this endless rave of energy and vibrations anyway... like youre dancing to the same frequencies the universe is made of okay yeah maybe im overthinking this but still!! also did yall know pulsars were mistaken for alien signals when they were first discovered?? wild right??? anyway hit me up if youve got any faves with nerdy space names... orrr if you just wanna chat about how dark matter is basically the ultimate unsolved banger lol

pulsars as alien signals is such a good bit of history, like early science fiction in real life. also yeah, track names inspired by astrophysics are cool but they can get cheesy fast if you lean too hard into the metaphors. lowkey better to keep it subtle or just use actual terms, like 'redshift' or 'event horizon,' instead of trying to make it all poetic if youre into that vibe, check out some of the stuff from [link to an artist or album], they do a good job blending actual science terms into their titles without overdoing it.
