like seriously, you wake up in teh middle of the night and its flashing 3:17 am in bright blue leds, how is that supposed to help anyone sleep? dont even get me started on the ones with the colon blinking every second its 2026, we have dimmable everything else, why not nightstand clocks? analog all the way, no light pollution, no distractions, just a quiet little hand ticking away... its not that hard to glance over and see roughly what time it is without being assaulted by numbers. i get that some people need alarms but theres gotta be a better way than this. like, maybe im just biased because i like the simplicity of a good watch but cmon, its not like we need a timer for how long weve been lying awake stressing about tomorrows meetings...

okay so ive had this mouse for like two years and it just started doing this??? waited until now to ask because i kept thinking oh maybe its just me being clumsy lol... but no its definitely the mouse. did some googling and turns out its a thing!? something about the switch wearing out over time which is wild because i dont even game that much... just browsing and occasional video editing. anyways saw some suggestions to open it up and clean the contacts or replace the switch entirely but... am i really about to start soldering tiny parts on a monday morning?? maybe its time to just get a new one. anyone else dealt with this before?? also slightly annoyed because this mouse wasnt cheap but at the same time its kinda fun to have an excuse to browse all the weird ergonomic designs out there... did you know some mice are specifically shaped like a handshake to reduce wrist strain?? random but now im curious if thats actually as comfy as it sounds anyway lemme know if youve fixed this or just gave up and bought something new!!

i get that some people are out here pulling in sponsorships and patreon bucks but like... how many of those are actually covering their costs let alone making a profit? every other person i know is starting one and it feels less like a business and more like a really expensive hobby. sure you get to talk about your niche thing for an hour every week but does anyone actually care outside your mom and three friends? and then theres the equipment... mic setups, editing software, hosting fees it adds up quick. im not saying its impossible to make it work but it seems like 90% of podcasts are just people talking into the void hoping someone notices. and maybe thats the point? like its more about doing it for the sake of doing it than actually getting rich off it. or am i missing something here...

so ive been noticing this weird thing where some songs just have this **quiet dusty vibe** thats super specific — like theyre trying to sound like turning pages or creaking shelves or something its not exactly nostalgic but more like a mix of curiosity and being kinda lost? i cant explain it well but you know what i mean? its not just instrumental either, some songs with lyrics hit this too like they make me think of **forgotten stories** or finding an old book nobody’s read in decades. i dont even know if its intentional but im curious if anyone else gets this feeling from certain songs or am i just overthinking and its all in my head? idk man, maybe im just spending too much time in thrift stores looking at old vinyls again lol.

like im scrolling through spotify and its all 'echoes of the midnight pulse' or 'fragments of a neon dream' and im just thinking why cant it just be 'good beats vol 3' or something normal. its not that deep. is this supposed to make it feel more artistic or do they think itll make people take it more seriously its music for partying or zoning out, not a philosophy lecture. dont get me wrong some of them are cool but half the time it feels like they pulled words out of a 'moody adjective generator' and called it a day. tbh i kinda get it if its for a specific vibe but then you get the ones that are way too tryhard and im just like... bro you made a playlist, calm down
