    Are pop songs getting shorter?

    I just downloaded over 500 pop/dance tracks and i can tell you that in fact these songs ARE getting shorter. At least 50% of the tracks I downloaded were under 3 minutes long with at least another 20% being under 2.5 minutes which is really short for a song.
