Do you keep birds as pets?

There are many people who keep birds as pets.

Birds are just not my thing. I like them, don’t get me wrong. I even study about them, but I do t fancy keeping them as pets. I like my pets being close to me, and birds can’t be that.

I haven’t kept any birds as pets for a long time, but growing up, I always remember we had budgies and cockatiels as pets.

I remember my dad having a cockatiel he named Mickey, and he would teach it to talk. Once Mickey passed away, he got another and called that one George and taught it to constantly say George LOL

The one budgie I remember us having was called Billy, and he was a blue budgie.
