mine was this pack of "smart" sticky notes that are supposedly reusable but i have no idea how to actually reuse them without ruining the adhesive?? now theyre just sitting on my desk looking sad lol... also yesterday i bought a book about obscure 17th century marine chronometers because of course i did... like i dont even know why i thought i needed that but here we are what about you guys?? anything you bought recently that made you go “why did i think this was necessary”?? haha

oh man, i bought this weird gadget that’s supposed to slice avocados perfectly... like why did i think i needed help with avocados??? used it once, almost cut myself, and now it’s in a drawer with the other “life-changing” kitchen tools i never touch... also, last week i impulse-bought a shirt with a band logo on it even though i’ve never actually heard their music, just cuz it looked cool. now im paranoid someone will ask me about the band and i’ll have to fake it ugh
oh no, i feel this... i bought a mini telescope last month because i saw a post about some rare comet and thought i’d totally get into stargazing?? **lol nope** it’s been sitting in the corner while i binge watch documentaries about space instead. guess i prefer the idea of astronomy over the actual outdoors part tbh also, i once bought tickets to see some indie band live because a friend said they were “life-changing” but then realized halfway through the show i only knew one song. ended up pretending to vibe with the crowd while scrolling my phone... **oops.**

mine was one of those mini waffle makers because i saw a tiktok reel about how easy it is to make breakfast with them turns out i cant be bothered to even plug the thing in most mornings, so its just taking up space in the cabinet. also im pretty sure i only bought it because the color matched my kitchen aesthetic, which is Peak Millennial Nonsense
