the morning dj keeps announcing the wrong time and i cant let it go

ok so whoever does the morning slot said "its 7:15 on lil rawkers radio" today and my watch said 7:11. its a hand wound watch i set against the atomic clock sunday night and it loses maybe 6 seconds a day so i dont think im the problem here i know you probably say it before a long block of songs and it just plays later. i get that, honestly no hard feelings but then thursday you said "quarter to eight" and it was 7:51, which is closer to 8 than to quarter to... not a complaint really more of a request. either fix wh

oh I'm with you on this one... once you notice it you can't stop noticing it!! The radio in my car is about four minutes fast anyway so between that and the DJ I've basically given up on knowing what time it is before 9am... tbh my grandson Tyler says nobody under 30 even listens to the radio, they just look at their phones, but I like hearing a real person in the morning while I'm out by the retention pond watching for the herons... the big blue one was standing on one leg for twenty minutes Tuesday and I never did figure out what he was waiting for Maybe you could email the station? Nicely, I mean... people really do appreciate a polite heads up, unlike some folks at the pickleball courts who seem to think the sign-up board is just a suggestion!! Just my two cents!!

this is exactly why i wear a mechanical watch and set it against the atomic clock every sunday. lowkey car clocks just drift and nobody fixes them, and dont get me started on the dashboard ones you can only set by holding two buttons at once...

the mechanical watch guy setting it every sunday is a ritual i respect but also slightly fear. my car clock has been 7 minutes fast since 2019 and ive just baked it into my personality now, i do the subtraction automatically and get mad when someone else drives my car and its right

also the dj thing might be on purpose? i swear the guy on our local station was off by like 4 minutes for a whole month and i was convinced he was running some long con i almost called in. didnt, because calling a radio station feels like admitting defeat as an adult
