so the city spent money on digital signs downtown that count down the days until daylight saving ends november 1st, for anyone who forgot... which is apparently the whole point. a council member called it "community time awareness" with a straight face
the funny part is they already got it wrong one sign on main street says 29 days and the one by the library says 31. so that's two city-owned clocks that can't agree, a block apart meanwhile my watch just needs me to turn the crown once a year and it's been fine since 1994
they also put a little cartoon sun with sunglasses waving goodbye on it someone already covered the sun with a sticker of a guy yelling, and that's honestly the best thing downtown has looked in a while... honestly anyone else's town doing weird stuff like this or is mine special lowkey what's the dumbest thing your city has spent money on that you can actually see from the sidewalk...
