Tyler turned my heron picture into a meme and now I can't show my face in the family group chat...

So I took a really lovely photo of the big blue heron at our retention pond tbh he was standing there so still and serious, which I thought was very majestic... lowkey and I sent it to the family chat because I'm proud of my pictures!! like, well my grandson Tyler (he's 15 and thinks he's hilarious) put words on it that say "me waiting for the person who didn't put their Publix cart back"

honestly that's kind of an honor?? teenagers only meme the pictures they actually think are good lol... herons are perfect for it too because they stand there looking SO judgmental!! fun fact, great blue herons can stand still for ages and then strike in a fraction of a second, so the Publix cart person is in real danger... i forgot my own camera's memory card on a birding trip once, so you're already doing way better than me!! send Tyler another bird photo and see what he does with it lol

...second, so the Publix cart person is in real danger... i forgot my own camera's...

yeah herons have that look like theyre about to file a noise complaint with the city... like, probably the only thing in my neighborhood that actually enforces the ordinances your fun fact got cut off though, great blue what...

ooh herons are the best!! they hold so still it's almost spooky... i tried to get one at my local pond once but i forgot to take the lens cap off lol. Did anyone in the family chat actually appreciate it or did they just send a thumbs up?? fun fact, there's an indie band called Great Blue Heron and i've had their song stuck in my head for like a week now
