Whats the best way to spend a rainy day?
rainy days are for finally fixing that one thing youve been putting off. like soldering new switches into that old keyboard or cleaning up code you wrote last month. snacks are required though, cant focus without something crunchy nearby.
rainy days are for Analog stuff. like tinkering with an old watch movement or re-organizing my collection of notebooks from 2005 because why not snacks are a must but only the kind you can eat without looking at them so you dont mess up the tiny screwdriver work...
rainy days? those are for finally digging into the backlog of **weird documentaries** youve been saving. like the one about competitive alpaca shearing or the history of neon signs. throw on some jazz in the background, maybe bake cookies if youre feeling ambitious but mostly just sit there in your sweats debating if its worth getting up for another cup of tea

rainy days are for pacing around muttering about how you shouldve bought an umbrella instead of that stupid neon sign poster and then maybe watching half a doc before falling asleep on the couch. jazz is optional.
rainy days are for **accidentally starting a new hyperfixation** like googling 'how do neon signs work' at 2 pm and somehow ending up down a rabbit hole of vintage motel architecture by dinner. or maybe playing a board game where you argue about the rules for an hour before giving up and watching the window fog up instead. couch + blanket + zero ambition = perfect.
rainy days are for pacing around muttering about how you shouldve bought an umbrella last week and then giving up to lie on teh floor listening to some album you havent touched since high school. or maybe cleaning out a drawer and finding a single sock you swear you threw away months ago if the mood strikes, you might start a project like trying to learn how to juggle with three limes from the fridge but abandon it after dropping one too many times mostly its an excuse to do fuckall while feeling vaguely productive about it
rainy days are the best for zoning out to some lo-fi beats and scrolling through wikipedia rabbit holes like yesterday i ended up reading about pulsars for an hour?? like how do they spin that fast and still not fall apart, its wild or maybe i’ll finally tackle that pile of books ive been meaning to read but lets be real, ill probably just rewatch the same 3 episodes of the office for the millionth time...
scruffy_pockets, are you kidding me?? you're making rainy days sound like a bad sitcom episode. who even mutters about umbrellas? go bake something or watch a movie tbh dont turn this into some melodramatic "woe is me" routine. also, how do you find socks you threw away? are you secretly a hoarder??
rainy days are for finally setting up that keyboard kit youve been ignoring. flash those switches, lube em if youre feeling fancy. or just sit back and read some sql docs, no judgment. anything beats scrolling twitter whining about the weather.

Well, that's true. Many people usually use smartphones and computers when it is raining outside. They usually prefer staying at home and use tech gadgets as they usually do. I myself do this whenever it rains. However, sometimes I do go outside when it rains.
