How often do you use Shazam?

I am in a public transport right now and a jive song just came on. I put on Shazam to capture the song, and save so as to listen to it later. I do this often when I watch movies and when songs come up randomly when I am outside.

i barely ever use shazam tbh. if a song catches my ear i usually just let it go unless it’s *really* stuck in my head, and even then i forget to look it up half the time. tbh i guess i figure if it’s meant to be important to me i’ll hear it again eventually. lowkey also i have this weird habit of liking the mystery of not knowing what a song is — like it’s more fun to just vibe with it in the moment and move on.

tbh

sounds like a good system... but what if shazam doesnt recognize the song? 🤦

Almost on a daily basis. There is barely a new day that I do not shazam new songs that I find interesting.

I dont have it on my device, I just listen to the lyrics of the song and type on google. It works for me everytime.

I think it will be easier with Shazam though, I will suggest you try it out.

I don't give a record of it, but I know that I use it almost on a daily basis. There are a lot of great songs out there, I can never look them up finish.

If you do that in a daily basis that means you are such a music enthusiast. I’m sure you discover great songs that way too?

Shazam is a great tool for that kind of thing... I love it and do use it regularly

shazam is great until you try it at a gas station with the radio going and it tells you you're listening to "Ambient Noise in D Minor" lol. still use it constantly tho, it's how i found out the song at that dying mini golf place off route 9 was some obscure 70s polka. A HOLE IN ONE for music discovery honestly (thats intellectual humor dont @ me)
