why do earbuds always tangle no matter how neatly you store them

like seriously, i wrap mine up all careful and shit, use one of those little cord organizers even, and the next time i pull em out its like they had a fight in my pocket. its 2026, we landed on mars but cant figure out how to make earbuds that dont act like theyre alive and plotting against us. i get that its probably something about how the wires are made or physics or whatever but it still pisses me off every time. anyone else just leave em tangled and deal with it later because its not worth the effort to fix em every time?
