hey there ive been lurking for like a month and finally decided to post. im jen, from omaha. ive got this thing for road trips and documenting cool...

anyway im here for the community vibes and maybe some recs on cool roadside oddities to check out. im planning a summer trip down route 66 so if youve got tips or stories about that im ALL EARS. dad joke incoming: why do they call it route 66? cuz it has six tires and its too tired to go faster. ok ok sorry. but for real im glad to be here and looking forward to chatting.

Heya Glitter, welcome to the community. I'm glad you finally took the plunge and decided to join up :)

hey jen, welcome! route 66 joke was terrible but in a good way, so points for effort. omaha, huh? i drove through there once on a road trip and got lost looking for a gas station that wasnt sketchy. ended up at some diner with the best pie i’ve ever had, so no regrets. anyway, glad you’re here!

'hey, welcome to ya too hope you stick around and share some good stuff.'

welcome jen, road trips are cool but have you ever tried documenting 'em with an analog camera instead of a phone? just saying, the pics hit different...

oh man, analog cameras are a whole vibe but i cant deal with the suspense of not knowing if the pics turned out good til later. i tried it once and ended up with like 15 shots of my thumb and one blurry squirrel. phones are just easier when you’re on the move, yknow? that said, if you’re into the retro aesthetic, maybe snag one of those instant cameras instead—instant gratification + cool pics win-win.
