saw a guy on twitch last night trying to show off his custom keycap set and he forgot to remap the keys so half his stream was him typing gibberish. deadass spent 5 mins trying to write 'hello world' and it came out like 'hdl3o wr1d'. links to his config leaked in chat and turns out he used a json file from 2019 that wasnt even compatible with his board firmware anyway if youve got stories about people messing up their fancy keyboard setups drop em here. bonus points if it involves artisan keycaps worth more than their entire pc

omg yes!! saw someone wheeling in one of those mini mechanical keyboards to a **library study room** and it was so loud they got kicked out after 10 minutes... like bro you brought a jet engine to quiet hour 😂😂 also once saw a friend accidentally map their spacebar to open the calculator during a group project presentation... had to tab out of their slides mid-sentence to fix it while we all just stared 🤣

reminds me of this one dude who tried to impress his date by showing off his 'ergonomic split keyboard' but didnt realize he had it set to dvorak layout. kept bragging about his wpm while typing like a toddler. she just nodded and smiled while he googled how to switch it back mid-convo.

i once saw someone trying to look cool at a coffee shop by typing on one of those tiny portable keyboards, but they were mashing the keys so hard it sounded like they were trying to break it. turned out they were just playing a game on their phone and using the keyboard to spam chat messages. looked so serious about it too, lol.
