ok so i was supposed to be fixing my telescope mount but somehow ended up making a list of space names that would make great indie band names... the Boötes Void is a real empty patch of space about 330 million light years across and it sounds like a shoegaze band to me!! anyway vote and tell me what genre your band would play lol. also if anyone has seen my allen wrench lemme know

small nitpick: the boötes void isnt actually empty tbh theres around 60 galaxies in it, just way fewer than there should be https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bo%C3%B6tes_Void

im going with Hoag's Object. its a weird ring galaxy and nobody fully agrees on how it formed, so its gotta be math rock

oh I didn't know that about the Boötes Void 60 galaxies and it still counts as empty, that's my kitchen after Tyler's been through it lol... I'd go with The Great Attractor, it sounds like a Dateline episode, the kind where the charming new neighbor is never what he seems... my grandson says that's "a boomer band name" but I think it'd look nice on a t-shirt!! Just my two cents!!
