found a mixtape in the pocket of a thrift store jacket and now im obsessed with whoever made it!!

so i bought this corduroy jacket last weekend (i do NOT need another jacket... i have like four hobbies that each need a different jacket) and today i finally found a cassette in the inside pocket!! handwritten label says "for june, drive slow" in tiny blue letters

i dug out my old walkman from a box labeled "cables??" and it actually still works!! side A is mostly 90s stuff i half recognize... but then theres this one song nobody can identify. shazam got nothing. honestly sounds a little like Duster but more crackly, maybe a local band who only ever pressed like 50 copies?? at one point someone in the background laughs and says "turn it up" and i cant stop thin

oh my goodness "for june, drive slow" that just gave me chills!! I watched a Dateline last week where a whole case broke open over an old cassette, so please keep the jacket and write down which store you got it from... you never know!! If Shazam cant find the song it might be somebody's own recording, maybe a local band that never made it big... Tyler says you can post a clip on one of those song identifying subreddits and people over there are like detectives... i'd also check the jacket for a dry cleaning tag, those sometimes have a name or phone number on them!! I hope June is out there somewhere and still driving slow... Just my two cents!!
