djs would ANY of you do a whole hour of songs that mention a highway or route number??

ok so i drove 6 hrs round trip saturday (dont ask why, ok it was a giant fiberglass muffler man, im not apologizing) and somewhere around hour 3 the station played Route 66 and then I-94 by someb

just wanted to say I love a muffler man trip my late husband once drove us two hours out of the way for a giant peanut and I still haven't let it go!! An hour of highway songs sounds fun to me... Life is a Highway, Highway to Hell, and that Tom Cochrane one, oh wait thats the same one lol... my grandson Tyler would probably say none of those count because they're "old" but he's sixteen and thinks everything before 2015 is ancient... I'd call in and request it for sure... Just my two cents!!

lol the Rascal Flatts cover is from 2006 for Cars, so

PickleballPam58 a giant peanut is NOT a muffler man and i need you to retract that immediately. muffler men are 20 foot fiberglass guys holding an axe or a hot dog.

lol scruffy_pockets is right, the peanut doesnt count!! i do think the Gemini Giant in Wilmington IL should get honorary status though he's technically a different mold but he's sitting right on Route 66 so he'd be the perfect mascot for this hour

and yes i would 100% do this show!! tbh i'd open with "Route 66" obviously and then sneak in some weird stuff like Sufjan's "Come On! Feel the Illinoise!" deep cuts... wait does that one actually name a highway?? i genuinely cant remember, i have like four half-finished playlists in my notes app right now and zero of them are done lol. "Highway 61 Revisited" for sure though!! also kind of random but the Voyager 1 golden record has Chuck Berry's "Johnny B. Goode" on it, so technically there's a road trip song 15 billion miles away... not a route number but i'm counting it anyway!!
