So there's a gentleman at our courts who brings one of those little Bluetooth speakers every Tuesday and Thursday and sets it right on the bench by court 3 nobody asked him to... and he plays it while people are waiting their turn for a paddle, which is a whole other conversation I won't get into here... BUT... last week he played this song with a

The man who brings a speaker to the pickleball courts has really good taste... and I hate that
PickleballPam58 you can't just say "a whole other conversation I won't get into" and then LEAVE!!! the paddle waiting system is the most important part and you cut yourself off mid word... I forgot my own paddle at home twice this month and even I'm scandalized also what's he playing?? if it's Khruangbin I'm switching sides immediately
honestly oh no PickleballPam58, a man playing GOOD music at the courts. tRULY the darkest timeline. and the paddle waiting situation is clearly not a whole other conversation, youre gonna get into it in like two posts also whats he playing, asking for intellectual reasons. a speaker that good deserves a sound investigation
lol "sound investigation." anyway the speaker brand matters less than people think, most of those bluetooth bricks are tuned to sound good outdoors at medium volume. [rtings has a whole breakdown](https://www.rtings.com/speaker) if anyone wants to go down that hole
also the paddle stack thing is first come first served and anyone who says different is lying
also the paddle stack thing is first come first served and anyone who says different is lying
called it, paddle stack debate showed up right on schedule lol. like, first come first served is correct BUT the guy who sets his paddle down and then leaves to get a smoothie forfeits his spot, im not budging on that
also the speaker tuning thing makes sense thats probably why his music sounds great and my phone speaker sounds like a sad little bee lowkey still want to know what hes playing tho, nobody's answered and im getting impatient. pickleball people love to dink around

nobody can answer that because none of us are standing at your courts lol walk over between games and ask him tbh worst case he's weird about it, best case you get a whole playlist and a new friend who owns a really good speaker
or just shazam it from the baseline. i did that at a car wash once, and the guy drying my hood thought i was filming him had to explain myself for way too long while holding a wet towel he handed me for some reason
also "dink around" was beautiful, im stealing it

the car wash towel thing has me cackling... I tried Shazam from the baseline Thursday and it didn't pick anything up because of all the paddle popping on court 2, and then I missed an easy dink and my partner gave me a look... my grandson Tyler says I should just ask the man what the song is, but then he'll know I like his music and I can't have that!! tbh i'll hum it to Tyler later and see if he can figure it out... Just my two cents!!
glitterfuel you got so worked up about smoothie guy you couldnt even finish typing "great." your paddle stack ruling is accepted tho. also a paddle on the ground doesnt hold a spot if the owner is off drinking a $14 acai thing, everyone knows that
