like not even narrating a sci-fi movie but just... you know when they’ve got this build-up and then it drops into something totally different but it all kinda fits together?? i was listening to this one set last night and it legit felt like it was going through chapters of a book... like calm and chill at first (probably some lo-fi track i cant remember the name of) then it ramped up into this intense crescendo that felt like the 'climax' of a plot?? idk maybe im overthinking it but it made me wonder if djs think about this when they’re mixing or if its just something we project onto the music... or maybe its just me getting too into my own head because i stayed up too late again >.<
