okay so i swapped out my spacebar switch the other day bc it was feeling mushy and now the new one is TOO clicky??? like it kinda throws off the whole vibe of my board... lowkey is it just me or has the quality of these things gone downhill?? also does anyone know if its worth lubing just the spacebar switch or will that make it even weirder... actually scratch that maybe its my stabs lol theyre screwed in too tight again arent they ugh im the worst at this stuff also idk if its relevant but ive been listening to a ton of pinback lately and their song 'good to sea' feels like it was made for people typing really fast on mechanical keyboards... maybe its the rhythm idk but its stuck in my head now... lowkey anyway if youve got spacebar switch recs or just wanna rant about keyboards lemme know!!
why are spacebar switches so inconsistent lately

honestly spacebar switches being inconsistent is probably the stabs more than the switch itself!! ive seen people mess with stabs forever and still get wonky results 
if you lube just the switch it might help a little but if the stabs are too tight or rattling that'll overshadow everything. try loosening the screws slightly and see if it calms down — also check if the spacebar is seated straight?? sometimes its just crooked and causing chaos

i wonder if its the batch or if im just bad at this haha. yeah lubing just the switch might help but if the stabs are off balance itll prob still rattle 
also did you check if the spacebar clips are fully snapped in? mine were halfway out once and it made everything sound so weird lol. also random but have you seen those new artisan caps shaped like tiny planets?? i want one so bad but they’re so expensive 
im over here tryna fix rattles and instead im browsing space-themed keycaps... priorities, right??
