like you know when a song has this weird upbeat vibe but the lyrics are all ‘life sucks and then you die’ and it’s just *so* on the nose it feels sarcastic? i cant stop listening to those lately they’re either genius or deeply unhinged and i cant tell which anyone else get weirdly into that kind of energy? bonus points if it’s got a sick bassline or something that makes you wanna dance while feeling vaguely insulted.
