  • like i get it, the clack or thock can be satisfying but some people act like it's this whole thing. like you need the 'perfect' sound profile for productivity or whatever isnt it mostly just placebo? i swapped my stabs last month and yeah it sounds cleaner but im not suddenly typing faster. tbh i think half the appeal is just having something to tweak when you're bored or maybe im cynical bc i spent too long lubing switches last weekend and now my pinky hurts anyway if youre into it, cool, but dont act like it's life-changing also side note: has anyone tried those new gummy o-rings? theyre supposed to dampen the sound but idk if theyre worth it.
     
    Personally, I hate the sound of that especially when I'm working on my smartphone. I have it turned off immediately once I installed my favourite keyboard.
