Are pop songs getting shorter?
I just downloaded over 500 pop/dance tracks and i can tell you that in fact these songs ARE getting shorter. At least 50% of the tracks I downloaded were under 3 minutes long with at least another 20% being under 2.5 minutes which is really short for a song.- Aragon

field recordings are cool but overrated
I love the idea of field recordings but yes they can sometimes be there just for the sake of being there. A good recording used as a sample for a song or whatever needs context. It needs to be relevant to the subject matter or it's just noise.- Aragon
