hoverboards!! they were everywhere for like two seconds and then everyone was either falling off them or their batteries were exploding 
idk who thought those were a good idea but they definitely werent also, remember google glass?? that was such a weird flex, like “hey im wearing a computer on my face, dont mind me”

like, who needs their fridge to tell them they’re out of milk when you can just, i dunno, **look inside?!**
